Fr. Remigius DeRyckere was pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Deer Lodge 1866—1910. From his Deer Lodge base he had visited the area from Butte to Bearmouth and from Philipsburg to Blackfoot City and eventually into the Nevada Valley near Helmville. The receipts and expenses during his last four years at Deer Lodge reflect his itinerary. Several receipts/bills found in the book reflect activities: 1 year subscription to the Butte Miner @$6.00, Catholic Ladies fruit bill at The Cash Meat Market, 1892 marriage record (Larsen—Snyder), Geary cemetery permit (1908), list of diocesan collections, holycards, ad from Cambridge Tailoring Co. Chicago (1910), premium payment (1906).
