The Cathedral of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, 1866—1925 : The "Old" Cathedral
Father Joseph Oblinger, who had saved this cruet set, said they had been used in the Cathedral of the Sacred Hearts. The cruets with locator knobs sit on an oval brass tray. Glass cruets have etched grape design (wine) and elongated leaf design (water) with brass filligre lids and handles. There is a red stone on the lid of the wine cruet; and an opaline white stone on the lid of the water cruet.
